WELCOME TO SEA SCREW 2027
SEA SCREW is a weekend for people who enjoy RC boats, submarines, and everything that floats.
This is a Fun Float — there are no scheduled heats, races, or required operating times. Bring your vessel, put it in the water, and enjoy the weekend at your own pace.

RULES & OPERATIONS
FUN FLOAT
No scheduled heats or races. Launch, run, and recover when you want.
SPEED BOATS
Speed boats use the north section of the pond while operating.
When speed boats aren't running, the entire pond is open to everyone.
POWER
BATTERY & WIND POWER ONLY
No gasoline or nitro-powered vessels.
SUBMARINES
Please don't interrupt captains performing pre- or post-operation checks. They're not ignoring you, they’re just trying to keep their boat from doing something expensive.
FREQUENCIES
Low-frequency operators are responsible for coordinating their own frequencies. No frequency pin board will be provided.
SWAP MEET
THE ENTIRE EVENT IS A SWAP MEET!
Bring your own table. Clearly mark items BUY • SELL • TRADE.
All swap meet transactions are between buyers and sellers. SEA SCREW and Zack's Model Shipyard are not parties to or responsible for individual transactions.

The event takes place around the pond and pool at Blue Cypress Park, with parking, restrooms, registration, and swap-meet areas all located nearby.
POOL HOURS
The pool will be available to SEA SCREW participants from 08:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, March 12, and Saturday, March 13.
The rest of the event runs from 08:00 AM to 5:00 PM both days.

Register by February 19 to guarantee your event T-shirt!
We’re setting this deadline so we can finalize shirt quantities and sizes and get the order to our printer with enough time to have everything ready for SEA SCREW weekend.

PARK & FACILITY
Please follow all posted City of Jacksonville park rules and instructions from park staff. City park rules and posted signage take precedence over event-specific guidance.
PARTICIPATION
Participation and use of the park, pond, pool, and event facilities are at your own risk. By participating in SEA SCREW, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with RC boating and the use of the event facilities.
WILDLIFE
Alligators may be present in or around the pond. Please remain alert, keep a safe distance from wildlife, and do not approach, feed, or attempt to interact with any alligator.
